His current bike is a 2014 Kawasaki Z800 that he often goes traveling on with his Dad, Nick Horton, to places as far away as Poland. Having always had a massive interest in bikes it was natural for Jacob to study motorcycle mechanics at college. His training and years of experience around bikes is essential in his position as Head Mechanic at Horton Motorcycles.
Sam Bentley became a friend of the Horton family as he shared their passion for all things bike. Sam studied electrical electronic engineering at college for 3 years. With Horton Motorcycles expanding Sam was soon helping out and as the work load kept getting larger Jacob decided to ask Sam if he wanted to come and work with him full-time as Showroom Manager, and Sam has been an integral part of the team and Horton family ever since.
